Questions and Answers
The questions people actually ask, answered without hedging. If yours is not here, write to orders@soplira.com.
How long will my order take?
It depends on the item, and the product page says which. Pieces that ship from our United States warehouse arrive in three to seven business days. Everything else comes from the manufacturer and takes ten to twenty. Those are the real ranges, not the optimistic ones.
Most of what we sell ships from the manufacturer rather than from a warehouse we rent in between. That is what keeps shipping free with no minimum, and it is also why most of it takes longer than a shop that holds stock down the road from you.
If a date matters — a birthday, a trip — order early rather than hoping. We would rather say that now than apologise later.
What does shipping cost?
Nothing. Free everywhere, with no minimum order.
Will I be charged customs or duty when it arrives?
Usually not. Most parcels arrive with nothing further to pay. The United States ended its duty-free allowance for low-value parcels in August 2025, so we can no longer promise that for every parcel. If a courier asks you for anything, email orders@soplira.com before you pay it and we will tell you what it is.
Can I track it?
Yes. You get a tracking number by email once the parcel is on its way.
One honest warning about tracking on long international routes: it often goes quiet for several days in the middle, sometimes a week. That silence is normal and almost never means the parcel is lost. It usually starts updating again once it reaches the destination country.
Will everything arrive together?
Not necessarily. If you order from more than one room, items may come from different manufacturers and arrive on different days, in separate parcels.
You are not charged extra for that, and nothing is missing — the rest is still on its way.
What currency are the prices in?
US dollars. Depending on where your card is issued, your bank may convert at its own rate and add a foreign transaction fee. That fee is your bank's, not ours.
Can I return something?
Yes. The full terms are in our refund policy, which is the document that actually governs it.
Before you buy, read the Who it is not for section on the product page. It exists to stop returns before they happen, and it is honest to the point of costing us sales.
What if it arrives damaged or the wrong item comes?
Write to orders@soplira.com with your order number and a photo. That is a mistake on our side and we fix it — you do not pay to return it.
Why is it cheaper somewhere else?
Sometimes it is. Most of what we sell exists on large marketplaces under a dozen near-identical listings at a dozen prices.
What you get here instead: one of those listings has been chosen, the page tells you what the thing does badly as well as what it does well, and there is a person to write to when something goes wrong. If none of that is worth the difference to you, buy it there. We mean that.
Do you hold stock?
For most of the range, no, and we do not pretend to. Those pieces ship from the manufacturer, which is why shipping is free and why they take ten to twenty business days. A small part of the range now sits in a United States warehouse before you order it, and those arrive in three to seven. The product page tells you which is which.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Card details are handled by the payment provider and never reach us. Every order comes with a proper tax invoice.
How do I reach a person?
orders@soplira.com. It is a small operation, so the reply comes from someone who can actually change something — not from a queue.
